So I had some running around to do today and one of my errands took me near my favorite gun shop. The first thing I found out is that they had a lot of stuff in stock that I did not expect. First of all they had A LOT of AR-15's I mean probably 10-12 AR's. Granted I have not been to a gun shop since the election but everywhere I keep hearing that finding an AR is next to impossible, these guys had plenty at very fair prices. They also had Remingon UMC .40 in stock it was slightly higher than I normally pay but nobody else has had it while I was looking so I bought 3 boxes.
But here is what surprised me, almost every time I go into this store the customer service is GREAT I also like the set up of the store because all the rifles are on a few racks in the center of the store and the handguns are behind the counter but they are never shy about letting you handle stuff even if they know you are looking. So today I am in their trying to talk myself out of a new .22lr pistol. Another customer walks in, and walks up to the counter he told the employee that he was having a pretty bad coyote issue and he needed a rifle for coyotes. At this point the employee was completely useless. All he said is "coyotes are pretty small so anything bigger than .22lr will be fine". At no point did he try and make suggestions or maybe point out something that was cheap and would do the job.
I know for a fact that they had several guns on the racks that would be great coyote guns. This kinda bugged me but I guess that's just the way it goes.
