Uh oh, bore brush lodged in barrel!

You guys know the OP got the brush out of the barrel by post #29 don't you?

A nylon brush will allow the brush to reverse the bristles without sticking.

While the issue is resolved, I would also prefer a nylon brush. Brass/bronze brushes lose their flex if they are not pushed all the way through the barrel before pulling it all the way out. You can't do this with a muzzle loader. Without the flex, the bristles won't have the cleaning/scrubbing action they once had. That's not an issue with nylon which is much more flexible.

I use an undersized bronze brush as a jag, really grips a cloth patch, so far no stuck brush or lost patch.
