I've spoken with Lones Wigger, who has won Olympic Gold for rifle shooting. He is currently one of the organizers for The Sportsman's Team Challenge, and he's interested in setting up a Team Challenge Demo the Friday of that weekend.

Any interest in co-ordinating an "Appleseed" along with this event?

It would be a stetch, and would take a full two days to do well, at least one full day to scratch the surface and get you started (many folks are 'fighting themselves at the end of day one, and hit the rapid growth phase on day two).

If enough interest is shown, and the organizers wish, I will work on making it happen.

It is possible to get insurance regardless of NRA status (BTW, I *am* an NRA member). For example, Colorado Multigun has yearly insurance for about $750, $1M policy, I believe.

Unfortunately, the only open-enrollment Pat Rogers class in 2007 conflicts with these dates...

How about a slight twist on the logo Corriea's been using on all the hat/shirt orders. You know, keep it the same so everybody recognizes it, but add something for this event only?

I am interested in going, but I dont really know anyone very well on this board. I joined in 2004, but just havent frequented any gun boards for the last 2 years, although obviously that is changing. I think it would be fun, if I didnt feel out of place

Never saw any such thing at Whittington. That must be just a convention rule.

I've always carried at Whittington.

According to Packing.org, NM honors your Colorado permit. It honors my Florida permit, too. It seems they honor most of the "shall issue" states.

I'm in the same position. Don't know how busy work will be, might not be able to take off...Deadlines and delays, etc...

Is there a cut-off date for signing up?

What about signing up and then having to cancel?

Purely guessing, but a cut-off date might be around next March. We can't do any reserving of facilities until January.
