Okay, so I have a couple of guns I am thinking of selling. There is actually a guy at work that is interested in buying so I am trying to figure out what is fair. One is a XD-40 with 3 magazines, the box, all the factory goodies that came with it & a couple of holsters for it. The XD has about 3,000 rounds through it.
The other is a Taurus PT-111 G2, with the box, 2 magazines basically what came with it from the factory & a Safariland GLS holster. Both guns work & have been problem free.
There is another firearm I want & I am thinking of selling both of these to finance the purchase. So what do y'all think would be fair. I am honestly thinking $350 for both pistols, the holsters, magazines etc. Just sell all of it as a package. Do ya'all think this would be fair or is my price off base?

Thank You VoodooMountain. I am thinking about selling these 2 & getting a mid-sized .40. I believe it would take the place of both of them just fine.

I just want to find what is fair to both of us.

Just me but I think $350 for both guns and the holsters is a little low. I'm thinking more like somewhere from $450 to $500. Maybe throw in some ammo and call it a deal.

Thanks Y'all. I will talk to him a little later on. I'm probably going to sit on it for a few days. Make my mind up. I had thought about a G-23 but the M&P 2.0 .40 compact is roughly the same size & can be had for around $400 new if one shops around.

500 for both with the accessories is a fair price for both of you. If it's a good work buddy 450 would be giving him a great deal.

Yeah, sell them both for $450 and you'll have a good work buddy for life!

They are both good guns. Nothing wrong with them but I am not emotionally attached to either of them & I'm wanting something else. I don't have the cash to just go buy right now so I was thinking this would be a way to get what I want without really sacrificing anything. I'll just end up with one less pistol but I don't really consider either one of them anything special. I may just go back to carrying the old P94 until I pick up the next one.

I don't know squat about the XD.

The Taurus is not worth much. You can get a brand-new one for under $200. The blued are not worth as much as the stainless. I got a brand-new stainless for $217 not long ago (which was admittedly a good deal). They are good pistols, IMHO, but very inexpensive if you hunt around a bit.

I can get either of them brand new flat that price but if the OP can get that for them then more power to him. He should start high though.

I just tried to trade my Springfield XD subcompact in 40cal at lgs to help the price on a lightly used Ruger precision rifle in 6.5. They wouldn’t even take it on trade. Said that they can’t move anything in 40 cal these days.

G2 would go for about 175 used around here. The Springfield $250-275 so I would go a little higher than _350 but not much. I don't add value for accessories unless it's ammo when I purchased a gun. I probably would never use the stuff someone else bought for it

F2F sale, I could sell the G2 on ArmsList for $250-$275. The 40 XD would be a harder sale, but I could sell it for $350. Selling the XD for -$300 private sale is a rip off IMHO.

F2F prices are generally higher. I've sold a few guns on ArmsList. You'll get a few lowballers and some who will tell you they can buy for less elsewhere, but I always end up finding a buyer at asking price.

If you just want to get rid of them, for $350, I'll buy the guns from you w/o the accessories.
