"This Saturday I'll be continuing the negotiations on a barely used Rohrbaugh that I'd like to have." - me, in post #34

I bought it. Didn't save much over the asking price, but what the heck. Then I took it up the street to the assisted living community to show my 85-year-old father and he was seriously impressed by the gun's obvious quality and attention to detail. He really liked the light, long DAO trigger. This from someone who thinks a quality gun is an old Python or p&r'd S&W.

I hope it shoots as good as it looks.

John

Ironically enough, I had no idea about this holiday, but as it turns out, I bought my 3rd handgun on exactly April 15th.

It's an XD .45ACP Bi-tone 4" service model.

I hope it loves me as much as I love it.

I was anticipating spending my hard earned cash on a Colt AR but uncle sugar got it instead. Thanks IRS!!!

Don't worry, your money will buy uncle sugar a brand spanking new M-4 that we commoners can't own :banghead:

Although it was actually coincidence that it was BAG day, I did sent out payment to a fellow THR member for a Kel-Tec Sub2000 in .40 on the 15th ! I also put down the money on a chromed baby eagle, also in .40, about a half a week earlier.

Also on the 20th got myself a Walther G22. Thats the most money I've spent on guns in 5 days so far. A new record!

In the time frame mentioned at the beginning of this thread I've so far purchased:

:) CZ-82 - At $237 delivered (C&R) one of the best deals in surplus arms today in my humble opinion (My second)

:) Kahr CW9 - I've been looking at one of these for some time @ $389.99 and when the gun shop put an additional 10% off all pistols I picked it up for $350.

:) Mossberg 500 in .410 - Just wanted a .410 shotgun and thought $200 was a fair price.

:) Marlin 1894C .357 - I've been keeping an eye out for one of these for some time and finally found one for $340 and bought it on the spot.

Hmmm...I'd better slow down or I'll be broke soon! :D
