Weird Range Fee

This particular range charges 175 dollars a year for membership. They then charge $5 every visit if you bring your own ammo for your own guns.

The range I'm a member at is $150/year for the membership, and an additional $75/year if you bring your own ammo.

That's just not right. I don't think that place will get any traffic.

I just pay $125 (for annual membership renewel) and my range doesn't charge extra if you bring your own ammo for your gun. They do sell ammo but at a reasonable price.

Did I mention I'm in CA?

The range I go to is $40/year for new members and $30/year for renewals. It's all outdoor but they have 100 yrd. rifle & pistol range, 25 yrd. centerfire pistol range, 50 ft. .22rimfire range, a training area, and an archery range. Plus you can use any ammo you want.
