Hi Everybody!

Just found out about this site from somebody at Backwoods Home.

Allow me to introduce myself:
45 year old woman living in WA. Been a Second Amendment activist for about 8 years. Software test engineer. Libertarian. Own 4 pistols - 3 antique heirlooms and the one I use is a Colt .45 1911-A1. It's a little too big for me though. Would welcome any recommendations for a slightly smaller firearm.

Merry Christmas, pass the ammo and get back to work!

Great job on the site, Oleg! I'm going to unpack my bags and take a look around the rest of the place. :) Merry Christmas to you and Betty and to all members of thehighroad! :)

Checking In

Legionnaire checking in! Wow! Looks excellent thus far! Thanks, ladies and gents, for making this possible. Glad to see so many from TFL already here. Makes it feel just like home.

Site Looks Great!

Thanks Oleg and Runt for this great site! I can tell it will continue the great tradition of the TFL!

Keep up the great work!

:D :D

First Post

Hello All!
I've been lurking and learning on TFL for about 6 months now.
I'm just getting back into firearms and shooting after a 20 year recess. I forgot how much fun it can be.
I, as you all, was disappointed with the demise of TFL - the BEST firearms, RKBA forum on the web.
Thank you Oleg and the rest for resurrecting it in the form of TheHighRoad.
I'll attempt to post now, but I'd still rather read and learn rather than talk.
Thanks and a Merry Christmas to all!

Hi everybody!

Due to the Christmas holidays I didn't have access to the Internet for three days, but now I'm here! :D :D

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year
to everyone!!!!

Greetings

Greetings from the Land of the Morning Calm...

I occasionally lurked at TFL, not even sure if I ever registered. Thought I'd actually make a post here.

One question: The "General Discussion" rules clearly states, "Must be firearm related" - yet it seems half of the posts are not. This board is too new for me to get a feel for things - but what exactly is considered, "firearms related?"

Happy Kwanzaa:rolleyes: !
