What did you shoot today?

Had a 9mm day while trying to get the hang of my new prescription shooting glasses. (I don’t like them very much so far!)

Fired about 50 each through the Beretta M9, Kimber Stainless Target II and CZ Shadow 2. (124 gr Blazer brass.) Nothing to write home about, other than getting used to the M9 POI is tougher than it should be for me.

Stay safe.

Sighting in my coyote gun after scope change. Valmet 12ga/222 Rem... 00 or #4 Buck in the 12ga and a healthy 50gr PSP 222 load below. The scope was changed from this older Redfield 2 3/4 to a 4X scope with illuminated reticle. 4X is all I need as far as I shoot coyotes with a 222.

I'm getting there soon. Any tips on shooting with the glasses??

I'm tired of pretending to like my plastic 9mm pop guns.
Does kimber still make that with the melted edges?
I would carry that one.....I think 🤔

I'm with you my friend!
I have enough plastic (3-9mms, 2-10mms, and a 45). There is nothing like a nice revolver or 1911👍😀
I see gun store trips in the future of you and @Armored farmer. Not that I am an enabler, more of a helper

10, 45 and 9.
Get used to the glasses first. Bifocals are hard because of the line, progressive lenses are better. IMO
Shoot, shoot and shoot some more.
Throw in right hand, left eye dominant with bifocals. One gets some funny looks from RSO' at first.
@WisBorn is correct. Takes a lot of practice and progressive lenses make it so much easier

There is nothing wrong with a little enabling 😁
I have to take my SA 1911 45acp to the range. Hopefully it will warm up some next week 🙏
I reserved a lane tomorrow night at a new to the area indoor facility. Was there last week and was impressed. Next week is the same or colder here. Thankful for the indoor lanes.
I need some trigger time on the Ruger and an unshown S&W M&P 10mm. Bought the M&P in October last year, but with the way Year's end went, it has not been to the range

I wish I had an indoor range closer to home. Maybe it's time for a road trip 🤔
Their is a indoor range about an hour north of home. Several gun shops on the way😁

Glock 44 .22lr, Glock 19 and an old Winchester 190 .22lr that got neglected sitting in a pickup for a few years with no protective coating of oil or nothing so it's pretty rough. I just wanted to see if it would cycle and it did. I have only shot it one other time. I paid $50 for it like nearly 10 years ago and meant to clean it up but just haven't gotten around to it. Not sure it's worth my time, it kind of feels like a cheap pos tbh. Not one of winchesters finest guns for sure

My entire family deals with that....
My grandfather, sister, son, grandson and granddaughter. They are All right handed, left eyed.
Lots of left handed guns in our cabinets. A big part of the reason that I got started buying break action guns...

For me to use a rifle scope my glasses have to come off.
I had to learn to shoot pistols left handed when my right arm was in a brace for 3 months following reconstructive surgery. I managed but it was uncomfortable at best.
Left handed long guns might be a different story

We've shot Steel Challenge on this range for over 20 years without an incident. New Range Officer comes by right before the State Championship and informs us that in his opinion it's not safe and we had to move all the targets another 50 yards down range. They don't take care of the range that far down the berms and the ground is all roughed up. Near impossible for me to get around in my wheelchair.

Made it to the range tonight. Took the STI 9mm, SR1911 in 10mm, M&P 2.0PC in 10mm and Glock 23.
SR is going back to Ruger. The slide was previously milled for Holosun 407 which was replaced with a redi dot. Neither work for me. Have to send complete gun back for new slide.
The STI is now part of the carry rotation.
The M&P will certainly be the woods gun.
The Glock, well more to come

Sorry to hear about the 1911. I am back and forth on red dots. I have one on my Glock 20 & will be installing one on my S&W Victory 22lr.
But for a defense tool I really like sights!

Nice to have a new carry option with the STI 👌

When it comes back it will be wearing Novak night sites. The M&P wears an RDS and I like it.
Yeah the STI surprised me

First outing with P365 Macro & Holosun EPS. It did well. Only fired a few rounds today. Just had to shoot it a little. I also tested 10 rounds
of .380, 5 rounds each of two new loads. Getting close on a couple of good loads for the Fed 95 Gr JSP and the Everglades 95 Gr plated RN.
