What is this awesome looking machineTook it outlook it out for long overdue, shooting.
Now that's what I call recycling!I took out my 7.62x39 AR today. I was nailing spray paint cans at the 200 yard line. They painted the steel and left the cans out.
Yes, central WI is warm too. Are the 460 loads hot or cool? 30 rounds of stout magnum loads even out of the big X frame is a handfulView attachment 1158148
30 rounds through my 8.375" S & W 460 this morning before it got too warm
A load of IMR 4227 touched off by a Federal LMR primer pushing old stock 240 grain XTP's.
Not many people have used the range since Monday when I was last there.
Just. Too. Darn. Warm!

Had to look up the rifle. A bullpup 50cal? Looks like a fun one.Yesterday morning I ran seven mags worth of blasting ammo (700gr AP pull downs over 215gr H50BMG) through my new GM6 Lynx. The new Limbsaver recoil pad saved me from any bruises, whereas the original factory hard 'rubber' pad did painful damage in three rounds. Recoil is still rather robust though. The added folding front foregrip really helped control the gun and keep it snug to my shoulder. Kept all rounds in a 4" circle @100yds shooting off the bench with the bipod, so I'm happy.
