What do you carry?

In my arsenal, I have the following primary options for carry.

H&K USP45 Tactical

I use a Fobus roto-holster for this. Either the paddle, belt, or even shoulder-holster, depending on what I'm wearing. I use a Bulldog fanny pack holster when it's hotter out, and it wouldn't seem out of place with the rest of my outfit. I usually keep the vortex muzzle brake on, since it doesn't interfere with the holster. When I use the Bulldog fanny pack, I can even keep the B&T Quad rail on, with an Insight M6X and an Aimpoint Micro, but if I do, it would be because I had taken the USP to the range, and was too lazy to remove the quad rail.

Kel-Tec PF9

I use a Comp-Tac shirt tucker holster, generally. I have some of the 5.11 concealed carry denim jeans, and the holster T-shirt and the casual shirt with the snap-buttons designed so you can reach the holster on the holster T-shirt underneath, but I have yet to actually use those to carry (I bought them more as part of my collection). If it's cool enough out that I can wear that much clothing, I can generally conceal the .45. The only advantage that the holster T-shirt has is that I can use the Insight X2 with it, but I never considered that particularly important

NAA .22LR mini-revolver with holster grip.

Just goes into whatever pocket won't have other stuff in it. El Paso really does occasionally get prohibitively hot to wear clothing suitable for carry, and when I don't think I can get away with the Bulldog fanny-pack, the mini revolver could be all I carry. At least when it comes to firearms.

I always keep at least one backup weapon, that isn't a firearm.

Cold Steel Delta Darts, either in a sleeve-sheath on the inside of my forearm, or on a horizontal belt sheath (leather, colored to match the belt) at the back. I tend to carry two of these. One at each forearm, or one at each side at the back. I COULD carry 4, if I wanted... but I just haven't ever done that.

If I don't have a belt on, and am wearing short sleeves, I keep one of those cheap United Cutlery Inkpen knives, either clipped to a shirt pocket, or to the band of my wristwatch. I tend to like my self defense knives to be cheap and disposable.

Um, I usually carry a S&W airweight .38 revolver and maybe another 5 rounds in a pocket. No malls need defending around here I guess.

Right now, I'm carrying a Ruger SR9. Before that I used to carry a Daewoo DH40. I occasionally carry a Colt M1911 or a Ballester-Molina, and I open carry my Ruger Blackhawk .41 Magnum in an El Paso Saddlery rig on a pretty regular basis.

used to be a kahr k-40 ina don hume leather paddel, now it is full time with the xd sc .40 in a kydex grandfather oak holster Iwb

In the winter months, I carry a full size Kimber 45 in a Galco Avenger. During the warmer weather months, I carry a Kimber Pro Carry in a Sparks Summer Special.

Delta darts? I think you're a little overloaded there. I like to keep it simple because the more crud you carry the bigger the chance of a screwup or tangle. A Colt DS with a safariland speedloader plus a knife will work for in town. For the sticks I add a long gun of some type.

A Ruger LCP .380 loaded with Remington Golden Sabers in a Nemisis Pocket Holster.

s&w airweight 38 spcl in my front pocket. I wear shorts and polo shirt so its hard to hide much else. I also like the idea of 5 for sure:D

While I agree that the Delta Darts are definitely over the top, I am far more intrigued that the OP can wear a fanny pack and it "wouldn't seem out of place with the rest of my outfit."

My normal daily carry is a CZ Rami in 9MM. Sometimes (depending on my clothing) I switch over to a Kimber ultra carry, both are carried in Sparks VM2.

For summer carry I go with the LCP .380 from Ruger in a pocket holster. For winter or business carry it is an FNP 9 OWB.

S&W M&P .40 compact

and/or

Taurus 617 7-shot .357 mag revolver

I may work my USP compact .40 into the mix soon though if I can get used to the long trigger pull.

I carry a PT1911 either OWB or IWB with a spare mag, a knife clipped to a pocket, a cell phone, and o small flashlight.

When at the mall I wear my ninja outfit with a 5.11 tactical vest fully loaded. JUST KIDDING

It's just a mile from home to where I work, so I walk to work a lot. When I do, I put an MP3 player in one of the pouches of the fanny pack holster and run the earphones out. Instantly inconspicuous.

And, I never feel overloaded. Normally I'm only carrying one firearm and the delta darts, and I had those sheaths made for the darts when I realized that I'd be stuck with no firearm except the mini-revolver at times.

I'm not trying to toss another boast about how things are done in Texas when I say this, but it's the truth.

According to Texas state law, someone you WOUND in self defense can sue you for wrongful injury. The families of someone who you KILL in self defense, cannot. That's just a legal fact at the moment. The Delta Dart could be deadlier than the .22.
