You ain't from around here, KY
the 39 hit the market not too long ago, and im shure good ol Gaston Glock is thinkin up something else.

let me ask this:

What do you want the Glock 40 to be?

i think a single stack, poly framed 1911 clone would be pretty cool. striker fired, and hammerless. but thats just me...

You're going to get a-lot of replies referring to the "slimline" Glock 36 model line to be expanded.

I love my Glock 23 but it's a brick to conceal. I don't want a 1911 or an added safety just a Glock, single stack in 3, 4, and 5 inch models and 9mm, 40S&W and 45 ACP & GAP and maybe a 10MM in 5 and 6 inch trim.

I'd buy any one of those.

but we'll never see 'em......

now that i think of it, Glock really needs improvement on the grip.
most people who dont like glocks, dislike 'em because of the grip shape/ angle.

Glock needs to get a jump on the other poly framed handguns.
a more comfortable grip, with deeper strippiling for better grip.
the main complain o have with any glock is the grip: it tends to be slippery when wet.

speaty hands, excess gun-oil, raining outside ect.

i never could figure out why they never did make a slimline 9mm.
the g36 is a chunk, and the g-26 is too, but something very flat and compact, but that would need a totally new design.
all glock models made today are based on the full size models, with shortened slides and frames. a g-26 grip is the same circumfrence as the g17 or g34 models.

a single stack 9mm would require new molds ($$$) for the frame, modified or redesigned parts, new machine set-up for the barrel and slide. new fixtures for machining the parts. its all about costs...

An 8 shot single stack 45acp with a 4 inch barrel like the G19,23,33!!

Oh and a light rail and a compass in the stock (j/k bout the compass)

Since Smith & Wesson listened to the market, and Glock didn't, I'd like to see them figure out how to introduce interchangeable grip pannels.

Other than that, I love the G23 and G22 systems.

A 2 1/2 inch barrel "mouse gun" sized Glock (maybe the size of a Rohrbaugh, or little bigger) in 9mm or .357 SIG. Have them made in the U.S. so they don't have to put up with the garbage importation regulations and rules on pistols entering the U.S.

Slim, single stack 9mm.

Ditto to bestseller92, although I would prefer the G26 to be slimmed down than the G19.

A 10mm carbine, or a multi-caliber carbine of some sort, especially if it could have switchable uppers so people could SBR it and change calibers easily

Drat, BattleChimp Potemkin beat me to it! I was going to say "Something anyone on this room can be professional enough to handle"
