I have several older Colts. Including an Official Police with (Probably) Jay Scott grips.

Wanted some vintage wood.

Found some on eBay. Listed as OP grips.

Not even close. IMG_6917.jpeg

they are dead square across the top. I don’t recall any Colt being cut like that.

Any ideas?

Front and back.

Properly fitting Jay Scott’s.

There’s an extra hole at the top. Maybe the Eustachians are missing? (If that’s the right word. Either that, or it’s part of ones ear).

But, even then, there’s not nearly enough wood.

If they fit something rarer, cool. I’ll sell them. If not, I’m returning them.

If you have a gun they fit, and need them, I’ll sell them for what I’ve got in them.

Close, but no cigar. Eustachian Tubes run from the middle ear to the throat and help equalize pressure. What you're looking for is 'escutcheon', the little threaded brass piece that the screw threads into.

You get an "E" for effort, though :p
