What have you done in the reloading room today

Got some painting and home repair he didn't want to do 🤣 I was good as he would mail me any ammo I asked for. Now I make them for junior. He needs to start pulling his weight 😁

Did not do any painting but did remodel the master bath. repair grout in the hall bath. Then one time I had to repair his brush shredder. He had hit a stump and caved in the whole front end in. Cut out the old replaced with some 1/4"wall 2x2" steel tubing so he would not bend it again. Would probably shear off the mounting pins. Then put new seals in the gear box so it would hold the gear oil.

I'm now the owner of his place so all the repairs I did I can enjoy.

Cleaned little press I used to trim 102 Win Mag cases. What a mess!

While I seldom use it, I had never cleaned this press before so anything slightly sticky had brass shavings stuck to it. And anything lubricated had brass shavings stuck to it. And anything dry had brass shavings stuck to it. Did I say what a mess?

Now it's so clean I don't want to use it.

I have one of these. It's the older one without the nice logo on the side. Decent little press for sure. Now ya got me wanting to clean mine up. It sits under my bench now however due to space.

I used mine for years with a universal decapping die. I wanted to buy the Lee reloading manual #2, and called Midway USA to do that. On the phone they told me the manual was around 25 all together or for like 22 bucks I could get the manual with one of these presses. No brainer. It may have been when they were trying to switch over to the die lock system they now have.

It’s scavenging time again: bullets. A while back I bought a variety of 158gr .358” LSWC bullets looking for a new source. I bought bevel based from a couple of sources, Valiant and Georgia State Arms, and learned why those were a bad idea. They’ve been tucked back in a corner ever since. I’m now out of the GSA bullets and working on the Valiant. These are going into mixed .38Spl brass and SyA primers w/Unique for my Taylor’s small frame bird’s-head grip single action.

Punching holes in soda bottles at random distances is just about the best way to spend a day.

@JmacD you keep adding more boxes to that setup and it going to be a bench-in-a-tower or a reloading-room-to-go…:)
Bwahahaha. It runs on wheels. Does pretty well. And I can pick and choose if I want to leave something behind. Can Mount to the wall too. And the new shelves I was building(on hold with my bum wing) will store the extra bits nicely.

I finished up my 762 M80 loads this morning using IMR 4895. I am also loading some additional M80 loads using Win 748 powder. I should do them this afternoon or Sunday morning.
