What have you done in the reloading room today

Finally got to loading some 300 blackout with Alliant 300 mp. First time I have used 300mp, and it is a VERY fine ball powder, with less case fill than H110. After I loaded the .300 blackout, curiosity got the best of me, and I pulled the uniflow out. Uniflow is set to drop 20.2gr of H110, and at the same setting drops 20.9gr Of 300mp, also had to see what it dropped with Lil Gun since that's next, and it was a consistent 20.5gr.

Another 50 rounds in the books so that makes 50 yesterday and 100 today loaded. I cleaned my seating die due to getting about a .010 thou spread on OAL. This batch was big green Remington cases and all 100% perfect 1.2110! I’m really getting the hang of throwing powder as well. Again big thanks to Charlie98! IMG_3515.jpeg

Not much.
Finally got caught up on popping spent primers on different range brass.
Hope to start re-loading 38 Special tomorrow if I don't have to shovel a lot of snow.

And like the idiot I am, set up my trimmer to tackle 357 brass.
That will wait a while, kinda burnt out after doing 400+ 38's.

The finish on that table was looking bad and I was going to replace it .
Looks plenty heavy and sturdy!

I prepped some 308 brass today for further prep. I resized and deprimed the cases for later trimming. I started with 103 cases. I culled 25 of them because I saw a ring at the webbing. Not much, just a faint ring. A couple of cases had a distinct line. Might be time to retire this lot.

I sold another one of the plastic monstrosities I picked up cheap in a package deal. Spent the money on more Federal LPP and a couple of one pounder’s of Bullseye and Unique from the store in Micanopy. Did some shooting too with a couple of single actions. .38LC and Special.

I was finishing off reloading almost a full box (50) of .45 acp with 225gr acme truncated cone .452 over clays and spp (speer cases) .
Late in the game I realized tension was horrible on most if not all. Kinetic hammer to all, recovered and reloaded with berry 230 rn with good tension .
I suspect the acme bullets are just fine, I've been reloading and shooting them in the .45 colt marlin np. A partial box (about 40 ) of the acme bullets is not worth over thinking and discovering why the .45acp attempt failed, will just reload the last in .45 colt.
I do have the hornady cam lock bullet puller but if the bullets are relatively small i can't get a good grip on them.
Hammer on. It's what I did in the reload room today.

Finally got the RCBS turret press all set up to run .380 ACP with press mounted Uniflow powder drop/auto linkage and auto bullet feed. Ready to drop powder and bullets tomorrow evening. Hoping like crazy this will cut my pistol cartridge reloading time in half or better. Also ordered a couple Lee auto bullet feeder kits, one in .44RM and another in .45LC (since RCBS does not make one in either caliber). Not quite full progressive, but should help a bunch.

Hammer time! (can’t touch this)🤣

Forgot to mention: all my ammo was loaded with the SyA spp and had a 100% ignition rate. Uniform primer pockets and a visible - but not tangible - crush ring.

I loaded up the.38Spl 158’s and went to put them in my range bag for tomorrow and found the three .38’s I shot last week still dirty. Cleaned two OP’s and a Rossi 581. Love the smell of Hoppes after midnight. 😍
my wife keeps finding 9mm cases in my shirt pockets after range day. Yeah i know better that then other things. Some of the loads tightgroup and silohouette for instance , the smith and wesson mp2 really sends them packing. I love the smell of hoppes anytime. The sound on the roof outside is putting me to sleep. Later all.

Hmmm, thems look good! I need to get my 30-30 back out to the desert. Soon.
I took mine out the last range day. The 26 grain loads of tac with the 170 cast are OK but I'm really fond of berry's 150 with blue dot. Shoots so easy and accurate and fun. Only problem is not bringing to many because if they go to the range none leave....

I tried out my unfired Colt 1911 and the 5 rounds that I loaded Sunday using Xtreme 200 gr. FP bullets over 4.8 gr. of Bullseye . The pistol function perfectly , but the accuracy wasn’t good . I just wanted to test my OAL before I loaded more of them because I have never used that bullet , or shot that pistol before .

Didn't get to the 38 special loading today................
Shoveled snow instead, twice, but during breaks I started torturing myself with more trimming.
357 magnum.
Glad that there is not much to do!
Checked my stash and I am in good shape!

Annealed some 6.5 CM brass.
Like the exhaust clamp for a stand on the propane!
