WOW! This thread sure went south quickly especially from someone that is not a US citizen nor fully understands our laws.
As far as the US 2nd Amendment, I have talked to plenty of people from Australia and New Zealand that have stated that they wish their countries had something like the US 2nd Amendment. I have also heard similar statements while I was stationed in Europe too.
I have been stationed all over the world and the US definitely has more freedoms that are protected by our Constitution. Our system is not perfect but I don't want to live anywhere else.

A FFL is required by federal law for anyone doing business selling or working on firearms, manufacturing ammunition or explosive, and importing firearms and/or ammunition. It is a license agreement between the license holder and the government to make sure laws are followed. It really is not much different than any other type of mandated license.
