For what purpose?

My favorite would be my handloaded XTP's. Groups are half the size I get with most other ammo.

Well what I have chosen is Federal Premium HST 124gr and Speer Gold Dot 124gr and both seem to shoot well. I also have some Hornady Critical Defense 115gr but I prefer the heavier projectiles.

what silversport said -- speer gold dots, 124-grain.

very accurate in my browning hi power.

Federal classic 9bp. Cheap enough to practice extensively with and still good enough to carry. Has a proven record. I actually like the 9bple but since you said non +p (this is +p+) I vote standard 9bp.

I hadn't had a 9mm for a long time and then I bought a LC9S. I have been feeding it about 20 different kinds of ammo and all of them feed and fire. The most pleasant are the 147 Speer and Remington 147 HTPs. 124 HSTs are also
OK. Heck all are OK.

I'd have to go with 147gr HST, just got a good deal on 147gr +P HST, but I haven't had the chance to test this ammunition. :)

My preference it the 90 gr Super Vel, which I guess is no longer made. No big deal I have a couple of boxes and do not shoot it for regular ammo. I think I also have a box the the heavier (124gr?) Super Vel.

For standard pressure 9mm 115gr Speer Gold Dots is one of my favorites.

For sub compact pistols with 3" or less barrel length the Federal HST's in either 124 or 147 grain are better based on YouTube tests I have watched. They also do extremely well in all other length barrels.

I like the XTP bullet, and since its cheapest and easiest to find range ammo in 115 gr I have settled on carrying 115gr also. Mostly use Fiocchi but have bought hornady as well.
I'm sure if you go through enough tests and reviews an argument can be made 124gr or 147gr but I think the 115gr is still effective and it shoots very close to range ammo in terms of POA/POI.

I really like the accuracy I get with handloaded XTPs.

One of our local gun stores has a cool display with various bullets and calibers that have been shot and recovered(im guessing from gel test). I must say the expansion of the Remington Golden Saber is very impressive, but I havent shot them to know what the accuracy is like.

Double Tap 9x19 +P 147 gr. Gold Dot JHP @ 1,100 FPS

I got a couple of voxes before DT switched from Gold
Dots.

I've found ProGrade 9x19 +P 147 gr. hornady XTP @ 1,100 FPS
in 25 Rd boxes $ 18 The XTPs from tests I've read are
reliable in expansion and routinely expan to 1.5 the Bore diameter
of whatever cartridge chambering. 9x19 .40/10mm .45 etc

My favorites are whatever standard pressure loads I can find for relative inexpensive from a reputable manufacturer, that have also been tested by tnoutdoorsnine or others who appear to have decent protocols.

In recent years, that's been Speer Gold Dot 124 gr rounds. I just bought another couple hundred a week ago for ~.49 each, shipped. www.ammoseek.com

I'm running 115 gr. Hornady Critical defense in my S&W shield. I've been meaning to try with heavier Gold Dots or HST's but these are readily available and feed reliably in all my guns.

Hornady 124gr or 147gr XTP.

A few weeks ago sent some Winchester 115 gr silvertips downrange. The flash among that vintage batch was a thumbdown.
