What pistol do you like to shoot that it seems only you have?

I don't see too many Desert Eagles at the range.
There have been a few others mentioned in this thread that make me think this, but A Deagle would seem like one that a person wouldn't shoot as much as the did other guns. I have a few friends that I know own them that I've never seen them shoot personally.
Another would be a Makarov they sold a ton of those things, I have one and enjoy shooting it even though I hardly ever actually break it out.

I bought a Beretta Neos .22 a couple of years ago and have never seen one at the range. I don't take it out very often but, just about every time I do, I have someone ask me what that lasertag looking thing is.

CZ82 doesn't attract attention but is a shooter I don't see too often and is REALLY accurate. Having a fixed barrel helps.

I don't take everything to the range, but I always take my CZ-52 & Zastava M-57. They are both chambered in 7.26 x 25 Tokarev. I know they aren't rare or practical, but I just love shooting them. I never see other people at the range shooting Toks, although a lot of people ask me what it is. The report, the recoil and muzzle flash seem to get a lot of attention.

That is my Star 30M. Seldom seen even here. I'm aware, and proud of being shooting a rarity :p. It is claimed, and rightly so, to be one of the best pistols ever made in my country. It's built like a tank, the SA pull is brilliant and the DA pull is better (and lighter) than that one of, say, a 92FS. The guy that won the last IPSC at my shooting club did so with one of these :D, ahead of the almightly CZ Shadow crowd, the Glockers and all the others. The bad news, it wasn't me , but I'm so happy that this guy won using this pistol. She keeps up, at 30 years old.

I plan on keeping her for ever. I'll be buying more pistols for the sole pleasure of shooting them, but this one will surely be my most treasured one.

Chiappa Rhino .357 Mag

I have 2" and 6" in 357 and they get a lot of attention. I have not seen anyone out here with them yet! I love shooting them!

My most unusual one is an AMT 9mm Winchester Magnum. I don't shoot it unless I'm sure I can recover my brass. On rare occasions I take out my 8mm Nambu that my dad brought back from WWII. I haven't seen another one of them at the range. Also, since the clamshell holster for it has a spare firing pin, I assume parts attrition might be a problem.

I have a grandfathered Browning BDA .380 in Nickel I take out to the range once in a while..... when people see it, they come on over and always ask me about it...its not very common. Nice little conversation piece....

Hello CZguy,,,

You have an original Whitney Wolverine?,,,

You know I hafta hate on ya just a little bit. ;)

Way back when I was a kid and dinosaurs ruled the earth,,,
I wanted a Whitney Wolverine so bad I could taste it.

My Pop didn't like semi-auto pistols and wouldn't let me buy it,,,
He made me spend my saved allowance on a beat up Iver-Johnson instead.

I've lately considered buying one of the new versions,,,
But I just can't make myself do it,,,
It's just not the same.

Color me envious!

Aarond

I have never seen a 9mm Win Mag, but I have seen several 45 Win Mags. They are a hoot! Have you been able to find reloading data & extra brass?

I have been looking at these for my dad. He has severe arthritis so he has a hard time with his .357s. He can't even hardly pull the slide back on an semi-auto anymore either. I have done a fair amount of reading on these and understand there is very little barrel rise but does it really reduce the recoil or just make it push straighter back on your hand? I have also heard some people complain that the trigger pull is really odd and uneven. I hear people say that about guns like the GP100 though and I love mine. Is there anything to this or is the action pretty clean?

The extremes of my .45 clutch...

AMT Hardballer Longslide and AMT Backup. I like shooting both and have yet to see another shooter with either... in my presence.

This one.

I have a 3913tsw. I have never seen anyone else with one. A friend of mine purchased a 4013tsw shortly after I our purchased mine. Honestly I have no idea why there aren't more of them being carried daily especially in the day and time that single stack compact nines are the rave

Those Manurhin revolvers are supposed to be something special. (The 73 is considered one of the best, and according to one source, the .32 Long is what is sought by those looking for best performance at the range.)

I've seen and handled a Model 88, which is based on a Ruger design, and it was impressive. I don't know what I'd do if I ever stumble across any of these various models for sale.

The only Manurhin I've owned was a WWII-built P-38 with German Army markings, which looked beautiful but was not particularly accurate. (I later traded it for my first CZ-75 (not a "B") and it was marvelous.)

Well, lessee, I have a Charter Arms Explorer II "survival pistol" built on the AR7 concept. I also have an old Erma LA22 which is a P08 Luger format toggle bolt gun. I also have a POS Ramline Exactor (junk I shoulda avoided). I don't see any of these around, much, nor do many want to admit they have them..:D

Grendel P10. Haven't seen anyone else with one since about 1989, and they were the other cops that bought 'em with me on a department PO. Don't see too many people these days pushing their rounds down into the ejection port, do you?

I have the removable magazine version, the P12. It functions fine, but the trigger sux and it's not that accurate. Okay for a "belly gun" I guess, last ditch, but all in all, I'd rather have any number of more modern autos like the P3AT or LCP that didin't exist when I bought this gun. 12 rounds on tap is kinda neat, though. Unfortunately, you might need all 12 if the threat is past 15 yards. :scrutiny:

I have a Llama Omni in 45acp, i've never seen another one at the range. Amazingly accurate, but a very long trigger pull in double action. It's about 30 years old now.

Regeant (sp?) .22 long 8 shot wheel gun. Inaccurate as hell but I inherited it from my grand father. That little 22 is fun to shoot even with its accuracy issues. That little 22 also gave me tinnitus when I was 15. I thought grandpa fired his last round and I removed hearing protection and bang one more round.... 20 years later still have that damn ringing in my left ear.

Just a couple of one's one never seen fired, excepting myself. My (S.A.) P.A.F jr .25 auto, skorpion .32acp, Webley mkll, broomhandle bolo and my colt 1903 .32acp.
Everything else I see at the range or desert is what else is in my collection or glock, Smith, Ruger Walther...

Caracal C. I shoot it more consistently accurate than just about any pistol I own. I haven't seen another at the line in the time I've owned it.
