next year its cast bullets!!!:p

.30-40 Krag for sure.

I have one, but so far have only tried jacketed bullets. I think it would be well suited for cast though... and the rifle itself is just plain cool. Wish somebody made reproductions of Krag rifles... would love to buy one "brand new"...

Now that the gun issue has been decided it's time to get it outfitted.

For now a 3x9x40 mil dot sightron will do nicely for aiming. But I need a base. Given the low MV some loads my be I'm thinking a 20moa base may be a good investment.

Yes no?

I have never considered cast bullets until losing my job and evaluating the price of bullets.

Today I am collecting 100ea 250gr. gas checked bullets for my .375 today and I am quietly excited as this presents a new dimension to my reloading and shooting experience. The currency is unimportant but the scale is, Accubonds are 16.8 while the cast bullets are 1.5 now I can get to practice.
