Not certain yet...I'm itching for a 357 revolver (I'd like an SP101 w/4inch barrel). Also wanting a 1911. It will probably be my first AR since I've ordered a parts kit and should be getting a stripped lower for Christmas.
Probably a Springfield TRP. Had an itch for one for awhile. But before that, I have to pay for some work on a revolver and will be sending off a Ruger Mk II for an overhaul.
I’m looking for a S&W Model 66-3 or older in good condition at a reasonable price, 4” barrel and that does NOT have Pachmayr grips. But, I would probably settle for a Model 65-4 or 19-4 or older if the right deal came along.
I have a little green saved up but, I think I'll wait until tax time. Maybe a Beretta 92 or a Rock Island 1911 in 9mm. Maybe a Hi-Power clone of some sort? Decisions decisions.
After shooting a 1911 for the first time this summer I really want one but, the Beretta and the various HP clones are intriguing.
A Ruger SR1911 full size is on my short list. But the next purchase or trade I'll make is for a 4" .357 double action revolver. I've seen various Ruger sixes for sale, a few S&W 66's and 1 GP100 but the prices people are asking for used guns is a little steep in my area right now so I'm waiting for a deal I can't pass up.
However, I have had a hankering for a Cimarron (or Uberti) Thunderer in .45 convertible or Lightning in .38 special with a 3.5" barrel. I have no use for it really since I don't do cowboy shooting or anything, but I've been drooling over them.
I've been thinking about a Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley Hunter in .44 magnun for awhile now. I've almost got my wife convinced that I need one to go deer hunting (which I haven't done in about 5 years).
My wife saw one on a TV gun show. An AF2011-A1, if and when they become available in the US.
This is my next planned high end purchase. My impulse purchases are difficult to predict!
