First let me start off by apologizing. I've tried the search button but i have not gotten anything. I've seen a thread similiar to this i just can't remember any keywords that were involved with it.

I was wanting to know what to put in a contract for a gun sale. I think im about to sell my XD9sc. Unfortunately the buyer is not a gentlemen i know too well. As such i want to create a bill of sale.

Once again let me apologize.

Before the "Bills of Sale are Anti-American!" group comes in...

This came from a person who dealt with a lawyer in a gun transaction:

I,_______, a resident of the state of Alabama, hereby agree to sell my Kel-Tec P-11 9mm Handgun, serial number #_________ to _______________, a fellow resident of Alabama. I acknowledge the validity of his/her Alabama Driver's license (and CCW Permit) and hereby state that those documents testify that he/she is of legal standing to purchase this firearm.

Buyer:

Date:

proposed bill of sale

Any comments on this one:

For the protection of Seller and Buyer, a Bill of Sale should:

permit numbers, address, phone number or any other identity theft
or burglary target information.

Also, NO price ("Honey, Joe at work needed money for car repairs,
so I bought his Colt 1911 Gold Cup National Match for ... uh ...
$40 to help him out, and being the unselfish guy I am, I'm taking
you out to dinner tonight, (hugs and kisses) after all I spent $40
on myself today.")
