Most things I intend to keep... that said the highway patrolman and the springer 1903 arent going anywhere.

My AMT hardballer. Its a POS, but was my first firearm.

My Series I Kimbers. They dont make 'em like they used too...

My Thompson 1927-A1. The pretty blued one. My parkerized Commando, maybe...

I don't think I could ever give up my Ruger 10/22. It was a gift from my father. My mosin, because it was the first firearm I had bought. My kimber and glock will never leave me either. Infact the only gun im willing to part with is my Taurus 85, because it has been replaced as my truck gun by my new XD-9.

The one gun that I would never sell is my Ruger #1 .270. It is my favorite deer rifle and super accurate, and it is the gun that both my sons killed their first deer with ( and I was there for both events- it don't get no better than that). It has also been loaned out to kids of my friends to kill their first deer. So many memories and hopefully many more. rugerman

1965 Marlin Golden 39A. It will be handed down or I will be buried with it.

I have others I probably won't sell but that one is a definite.

Chawbaccer

I've never checked on the value of the M55. No reason, plus, what would a simple old single shot 22 rifle be worth anyway? Think Dad paid $15-$20 when he bought it used.
I must say I was stunned. Not exactly HUGE money, but if I was asked to guess, I'd have picked $50-$75.

Still not going anywhere though.

Guns are things. Nothing is set in stone. Haven't sold many of mine over the years though and the pile keeps growing. Nobody appreciates them the way I do that are family, so eventually will sell just about all of them. I'll be pretty old by then though. Pass them on to the next generation.

I Think That My Friend Dr. Rob Nailed It On The Head~!

Greeting's All-

Here is a short list of firearms that I will never part with, under any set
of circumstances; except of course, death~!:uhoh:

Smith & Wesson model 30-1 .32 S&W Long my deceased dad's gun
2X (*2nd series 1947-1972) Colt Detective Specials (one nic, one blue)
West German SIG-SAUER .45 caliber P220A my duty weapon
West German SIG-SAUER 9m/m P228 (discontinued, hard too get)
Les Baer .45 ACP Thunder Ranch Special (best shooting .45 I've ever had)
Springfield WW-II parkerized G.I. model (gift from a very close THR friend)
Springfield XD-45ACP (from the first production run, salesman sample)
Seecamp LWS-32 (cuz I've always wanted one)
S&W (old model) 60 .38 Special 2" barrel (gun that started the SS craze)
Remington 12 GA 870 Marine Magnum (Christmas present to my daughter)
Colt AR-15 (first and only AR I've ever owned)
Smith & Wesson 2" model 37-2, and 642-2 (great carry pieces)
Smith & Wesson 2.5" model 66-4 .357 magnum (home D' handgun)
Smith & Wesson 6" 686-5 .357 magnum (for long range work)
and lastly, a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II (my daily CCW piece)

Uum, do I see a pattern? Guess you could make a case for saying,
"I'm Not Gett'in Rid Of Anything That Is Considered A Firearm".

My H&K USP and Gramp's sporterized Spfld 30-40 Krag. He's gone, but not forgotten. Got my first (and biggest) buck with it.

I've owned 3 guns.

A walther P22 - sold
A Marlin model XXX(can't remember the number) 22LR bolt action - gave to my brother.

My only current firearm is a G17 and I do not plan to sell/give it to anyone.

Mine was bought used too, Dad probably paid about 20-25 for it. There is one on Gunbroker for 600, but it's been on there a while I think, locally I came across one for 200.
