What would you buy with $600.00 +/- or so......?

A S&W .357, probably a 686. If you are smart and good you might be able to get a used S&W wheelgun and a new Sigma or Ruger autoloader all for $600.

Nicest Colt I could afford... 1903 pocket model would be nice, or another used 1911.

I think you need about four times that ammount...there have been some great suggestions here! So you can't stop at $600.00.
