battlesuit Japanamation can convieve,but you can only carry one thing. What do you carry?

The first rule of survival is avoiding conflict.

Absolut, you'd better be praying for no countersurveillance.

Even if we were to assume that there's an overwhelming reason to show up, the weapon and tactics must depend totally on the situation. (Maybe the target is a known violent criminal who has killed friends or family but police are not an option... the target has diplomatic immunity or something. And for some reason you want to take matters into your own hands and avenge the deaths.).

Is the time and place in a desert? On a boat in the middle of the Atlantic? On the top floor of a 40-story office building? How large of a protection team does the target have? Is the location fortified? What's the layout?

Obviously these questions cannot be seriously posed and answered due to legal problems they might create for THR.

Furthermore, you apparently know they'll be there, but do they know you might be there? If they know, and you have operate alone, the only solution is to nuke them from orbit, just to be sure.

Ok, if I HAD to be there:

Current weapons:
Locally deployed weapons: Full-auto Thompson. If it must be concealed, a full-auto Glock18.
Distance weapon: Barrett, w/ scope.

Futuristic weapons:
Locally deployed: Type 3 Phaser Rifle.
Non-concealed distance or locally deployed: Defiant-class warship w/ a cloak.

Take a bite out of crime with ship-board mounted Type 10+ Planetary Defense Phasers and Quantum Torpedoes.

Yes, I know I am a complete and hopeless geek. I have learned to live with it.
