A nicely appointed Colt SAA for $1000 or less, with unbreakable coil and wire springs instead of the criminally vulnerable flat springs.

Edit:

Yeah I know it sounds like a Blackhawk. And if Colt can't make an SAA better than a Blackhawk then forget it.

All the choices seem to be nothing more than
"catch ups" with S&W and Ruger.

And of course in reality if those wishes were
fulfilled, the price tags would all be 25-40
percent more than the competition. :)

The new Anaconda is so good that I would love to have one in .45 Colt. Because Anaconda. Because .45 Colt. I’d also love to see one in high polish blue. And a DLC version. And blued and DLC versions of all their revolvers. And as CraigC says, a New Frontier with 4 3/4” or 5 1/2” barrel in .44 Special would be glorious. I’d also like a 5-shot King Cobra in .44 Special because no one seems to be making a quality .44 Special snub these days.

An even worse problem is nobody seems to be making .44 Spl. ammo....☹️
Edit/correction- Huh, just checked Buds and they have a surprising selection in stock.

I got no problem with a revolver as good as the current Python/Anaconda for only 25% more than a comparable Ruger or S&W.
