What's the problem with "printing"?

well I think there is a distinction between "printing", which is, "that is very obviously a gun", and showing that there is something attached to your belt under your shirt tail.

if it's readily discernible as a gun to a normal observer, then it's printing, right? otherwise, it's just some strange bulge under your shirt.

Printing is almost always a non issue, as the sheep don't notice.

They'll think its a walkman, a phone, etc.

Strangely, I find that overly self confident, self absorbed CCW folks are the ones who seem most clueless about what is around them, apparently because they feel safe because they have a gun.

The opposite is also true. Many of the overly paranoid gun carriers see every bulge, fanny pack, and best as evidence of armed gun carriers.

Lately every time I see an untucked shirt especially an hawaiian print one I think CCW.

I don't particularly care if I ocasionally "print". I don't advertise, but I'm not trying to completely hide that I carry a firearm (when I carry a firearm). It is a form of showing others not to mess with you without actually brandishing

There seems to be some confusion on what exactly printing means. Printing is where someone can see an outline of something under your garment. No part of the firearm is exposed and it is still fully concealed. With the variety of things people wear on their belts today and the fact only a portion of the firearm actually prints it's obvious why most people pay it no mind.

That's funny , I have more Hawaiian shirts than guns.
That said people who don't carry, don't even think about it. I've walked by cops W/ my carry piece only minimally covered and they never noticed.
