Kahr MK-9,i paid $279 dollars for
mine.It does have minor pitting
on the dusk cover and under the
grips. But it shoots very well and
handles +P's just fine.

"3 65-3,i paid $250.00 and one of
the best guns i own.

A used CZ-75 that I got for a steal because the previous owner had lost the thumb safety spring. I got a replacement from EAA and replaced all the springs w/ Wolff gunsprings. This was one of the most accurate and reliable pistols I have owned and I still kick myself for trading it.

Ruger Service Six, .357 magnum.
Home invaders beware, this gun is always within reach, and is not your friend.

And the loud end, with those .357 magnum JSPs peaking out.

Kel-Tec P-11 hard chrome...$259 new.

It is my answer to the 2", 5 shot 38 Special. Same length, same hight, thinner, lighter and holds 11 rounds of more potent ammunition.

I'd love to get one of these. Unfortunately, it is not Massachusetts compliant so I make do with my Smith snubbie.

My dirt cheap, slightly modified, Springfield Champion. Over 2500 rounds without even a hiccup. It shoots to point of aim at 15-25 yards. This gun started out as a GI WWII model, incorrectly shipped by SA to my gun dealer. I walked in just about the time they were unwrapping it. Instead of them sending it back they gave it to me at their cost, and a really nice cash discount on top. I have bought all my guns from them in the last 20 years and believe you me, they have done well by me. I did all the work myself except for the reparkerizing and machining for the new Novak sights.

For my true carry piece - used S&W Mod 15 - $130. They had a Mod 10 at the time but I sprang the extra $10 for adjustable sights and never regretted it. I once put Pachmayer grips on it but didn't like either the look or feel and put the old wood ones back on. When I'm doing everything right I can hit 20 gauge shells (empty of course) at 15 yards.

For an auto - I picked up a Springfield Armory Compact Comp (slide is Officer's length but factory compensator takes it up to Commander length) used at a gunshow for $350. Runs reliably but I'm thinking about getting a 3 1/2" barrel to make it more concealable.

Taurus 85. It's all that I own in that category. I bought a Taurus because S&W was collaborating with President Clinton at the time. But it turned out to be a very sturdy, all steel, trustworthy revolver.

$200.00 for a first Generation GLOCK 17, LNIB with two high capacity magazines.

$229.00 for a Beretta 96D Centurion. LNIIB

My Bersa .380...

If I were in a bit of a pickle and the Bersa, a Walther PPK/S in .380, and a Sig P232 were sitting in front of me, I'd grab the Bersa.

I'd grab the P232 as well, but y'know... :D

I'm not sure if used guns count as "low cost", but I got my SIG 225 used for about $330 and my ruger gp100 3" for around $265. They are both about as reliable as can be, and since I have a bunch of handguns that I paid 2 or 3 times as much for these are my low cost guns.

Kel-Tec P11 Every Time...

Solid, Reliable, Inexpensive to shoot, Accurate and Small-enought-to-carry-anywhere...

It is very worth getting used to...

lol, I mention my Ruger P90 in every post I make, or at least 95% of them, and by god, I will do it again. fan-freaking-tastic pistol.
