What's your oldest firearm that you still shoot?

1891 Argentine

1891 Argentine Cavalry and Engineer Mauser carbines in 7.65.

I think that would be the oldest firearm, though that model was produced for a few years. I do have a 1898 Krag with a 1902 stock cartouche on it. Shot deer with both the 1891s and the Krag. The 30-40 Krag doe was this month.

Once, I fired a perfect score on the Texas Concealed Handgun Qualification course with a Smith and Wesson .44 Russian revolver that was sold in a St Louis hardware store in 1874....two years before Custer got it at Little Big Horn. Not mine though. Dang fine pistol.

Shot a doe with 1903A3 from 1943, a K98 Mauser marked 1937, and a P17 from WWI as well this year. Got a 1937 Luger and a couple of old Colt 1903 pocket models that fire and function without problems. Got an M38 Swede that is an arsenal rebuilt 1900 Gustav. Shot a couple of does with it a year ago.

A Colt New Service from 1916 in .45 Colt. A,fine gun with a tight lockup and good accuracy, but that stock front sight isn't friendly to old eyes.

1874 Sharps, 45-100, quit shooting it a few years ago when I had a repop of it built.

Win.M1887 lever action 12ga. Shoot skeet with it, with BP handloads.

Win M92, 38WCF Built in 1911. Great Granpaws rifle. Still hunt with it!

Winchester Model 63-1940
Mosin M44-1945
Iver Johnson Champion 20 ga- not sure when it was made. Blue Book says they were made 1909-1956

Not as old as some of yours, but they are fun, and as SM said: "Run what you brung"

My 1930 SXS Western Arms Corp (Ithaca Arms off brand) 28" barrels and dual triggers. Great shooting shotgun.

:)I got ya all beat. I shoot and hunt with a Spencer model 1865 carbine caliber 56-50, serial number/production date puts it late 1864 to 1865 She can still put 3 rounds into 3 inches at 100 yards if I do my part..:)

1866 trapdoor Springfield, .50-70 Government (2nd Allin conversion).
Got a nice 6 pointer (a real heavy one) this year with a 450 grain round nose over black powder.
This thing is barely supersonic and makes a resounding 'thwack' when it hits the target that is easy to hear.

That I shoot frequently, probably my 1891 Spandau Gew88. Occasionally I'll take out a '93 Mauser or a pre-99 recievered Mosin, but I really like the Commissiongewehr.

Hmph.

I don't shoot it that much...just enough for the World Muzzle-Loading Championships...but I'm shooting a Wogdon & Barton flint duelling pistol.

Made around 1805.

oldest gun?

My father's Winchester 1894 saddle ring carbine, in .25/.35. He bought it in 1898, when he was 19. Been a couple of years since fired, but had a recent "health checkup" and is good to go. You don't walk into the nearest ammo supply store and pick up a fresh box!
