Academy rep said CCI has sent enough product for each store to receive at least 5K SMP - but they will not appear in the inventory online.

I ordered SRP from them last week, they were in the Processing stage for 4 days I think. But they have shipped, so hold out hope for a couple days.

I made 2 orders for Federal Premium Gold Large Rifle Magnum primers this week, both those orders show Shipped with tracking numbers. One has a FedEx tracking number that I've set my own alert for using the FedEx website. The other has a Bass Pro Shops tracking number that's not useful to me.

If you want an update you can call or email.

I ordered some Remington 9.5 Large Rifle Primers on September 25 I just picked up yesterday. They lost my order two times when shipping using Bass Pro trucks, the third time they sent my order FedEx but they still never sent an email my order arrived. The only way any of the facts they'd lost my order, both time, was due to me forwarding my order confirmation email to Customer Service asking for an update - twice plus being able to see via the FedEx system the third shipment had been delivered.

So the moral to that is, don't be too bashful to ask CS if you're concerned. Email worked best for me as it left a continuous documentation trail throughout the process.

Yep - no problem getting orders to the "In Process" stage this entire past week for me, and evidently for you as well. Good to know. Now to see how many more make it to "Shipped" beyond the two I placed for Federal Match Large Rifle Magnum Primers recently. No "Fingers Crossed" smiley available in this board's lexicon.

Once again on the lookout for Small Pistol Primers -- if anyone happens to catch any on the interwebs, feel free to pass a link along.

When "in demand" primers are available, they stay available for 5 minutes or less. There isn't really time to provide a useful post. However, if you are looking for Magnum Large Pistol, Magnum Large Rifle, or $90 CCI Bench Rest Primers, they stay in stock sometimes for 24 hours or more and guys on here post those nightly.

You just have to be diligent and check major vendors constantly and you will find the primers you are looking for.
