Thanks for the heads up on Midway and .224 Hornady FMJs. I ordered 500.

I found 5K SRP two months ago, but bullets were simply not available.

Now I need powder for .223 Rem - Varget, W748, H322, BL-C(2) or something equally suited, and I''ll be all set.

At this speed, I'll be reloading in late summer - maybe...

One things for sure, ordering piecemeal like this keeps the Big Brown Box Truck of Happiness well employed.

Nice... some V-Max 55gr coming home with me today

:)

Thats about $400 in lead today

SWEET!!!! Good day for sure...

Thanks again THR and all the diligent posters

Thanks!

Was going to start a new thread but I figure most on this section look at this thread.

Just wanted to put a BIG thank you out there. I am a "newb" and have asked quite a bit. This resource has been tremendous and I plan on passing it on. I have joined a few forums to soak up as much info as possible and you appreciate a place like this and TFL when compared to others out there.

The unsolicited PM's I have received to help the process has been outstanding.

Thanks all!

Charles AKA Beentown

PS...Wideners has 55gr Hornady Z-Max's $68 for 500 right now.

You are very welcome and thank you all for the continued substantial team/group effort!

Powder Valley is showing Winchester large rifle primers in stock.
Thanks. I placed an order last night, soon after this notice was posted. Still showing in stock this morning. Maybe it helps, but gunbot doesn't seem to track availability at Powder Valley.

Does this mean they actually still have stock? Historically speaking.

 Are you asking whether Powder Valley will claim to have stock when they don't? If so, then no--that has not been my experience. They may not have the most modern kind of "shopping cart," but they have always been good people to deal with. And since they still show Winchester LRP even this afternoon, I assume that means they are still in stock.

Exactly. If PV lists it as in stock, its in stock. They just have a huge backlog right now and they're taking a month or so to ship most orders.

SAS, since FEB for my powder and primer orders that havn't come in yet. They recently posted they were finishing up the Feb orders.
