Where are there primers for sale?

A friend was as Sportsman Warehouse in Grand Junction CO today and they had plenty of RP 7 1/2's. I believe they were $32/ Thousand.

I walked in to my local gun store.. Kesselrings in Alger, Wa. the other day. Must have had 20,000 large pistol, some 5,000 small and large rifle primers on hand. Winchester. Some 209's, and other shotie primers. I grabbed a brick of 1,000 large pistol for $33.00.

I do that once every couple weeks or so.

Blythe's in Valparaiso, IN had maybe 40k last week. Mix of Federal, CCI, Rem, and Wolf SR, a few LR, some pistol. About $38/k IIRC.

He said he's getting them on a regular basis.

Midway just called and said they ran out before they got to my order.

I called them within -minutes- (no more than 5) of getting the email that they were in stock.

Midway right now has Remington Small Pistol Primers.

Don't worry mgkdrgn. I'm beginning to think midways notices are a scam. I've had some .380 dies on B/O for a few months. Got a notice the brand I ordered were "in stock". But they weren't of course....

So how can people have B/O's and they show/notify ANY in stock? My ship date still shows in December.

Order went through for 5K large pistol, Federal, with T and T RELOADING INC.. $162.50 plus $11.00 ship plus hazmat. Come out to about $37 per thousand delivered which is not the total rape on the auctions. Auctiom guy offered same thing as a buy it now for $75 per thousand.

Graffs had Federal Match Primers, at least over the weekend. I picked up 5K of SPM Match and with shipping and HZ fees it came to $184. A little pricey but I only use them for the .357. 5000 of these primers will last me a long time.
