Which Height Scope rings for a3 flat top?

All Right here is the deal i am having my spr built and i need some help on what size scope rings to buy. i have already decided that i want the arms throw lever rings. the scope i want to get has a 30mm body and a 40mm objective, so question is can i use the low rings or do i need to go with the medium?

also if there better rings to get please let me know i am open to any ideas, but please tell me what size, as the sizes might be different from company to company.

btw this is a regular a3 flattop upper. thanks in advance.

Well, the Bushmaster Varminter comes with 1/2" risers and low rings work well with a 40mm scope. Unless you use risers, you would want to add that .5" to the ring height....which would probably mean high's.

I recommend the LaRue SPR mount.
