Which one..

I cant decide on which caliber I would like, either a .308, .223, .243. What I would use the gun for is most likley hog hunting, deer hunting, and maybe just shooting for fun. I would really enjoy any of these calibers in a semi auto style.. What I really like are the AR styles, the AR 10, and AR 15. Do they make an AR that shoots a .243 round? What is it called? What do you think I should go with?

.308. Best caliber in the world. (as far as I am concerned.) Can be shot ouit of alot of different guns. I think I own 7 rifles in.308.

Just be aware that an AR10 is a monster compared to an AR15. Most AR10s go around 10lbs before you add the optics. There are alternative caliber that work on the standard AR15 platform. I do believe that a .243WSSM is available, or something similar. Then there's 6.8SPC, 6.5 Grendel, etc. Take a look over at ar15.com and you'll get some ideas of what's available.
