Who regularly shoots a gun older than they are??

My M1 Garand is from November 1944 and I'm sure that's older than most people on here... I was born in 1996.
I have been trying to shoot it more since now I got the SilencerCo ASR muzzle brake on it and can use our Hybrid 46M suppressor on it. I've got a video posted in the NFA sub of me shooting it.
Edit to add gratuitous pic of said Suppressed M1 Garand.

I shoot the “ cal .30 model 1917” of my dad’s fairly often. Or did till the stock split through the pistol grip. Also his smittys are both from 60 something I believe. My Mexican Mauser is from 1913? I believe. Or is it 36? Predates me be better than a half century one way or tother.

Pretty awesome pictures and guns being shown here. For me, it's a Winchester 94 30-30 made in 1970, and a Ruger Single Six made in... I think 1981, just a couple of years before me. I have a friend that shoots a Winchester 94 that was made in 1898 I think it was. It's a cool old gun for sure.

I often use my William Ford duck shotgun (1936) for sporting clays and quail.

I am pretty sure the only guns that I own that are older than me are.

Remington model # 8 in .35 Rem.

And very possibly the old mint break top in .32 made by Harrington & Richardson.

OMG = looked at the posts and suddenly realized the 2 WW2 carbines are older than me.

as well as the Mosin Nagants that are a few years my senior.

I have two Ithaca Trap guns, one from the year my Dad was born, the other from the year my grandpa was 13 years old. I shoot them several times each throughout the year.
I lent the '41 Model 37 Trap to a friend this summer as it was more comfortable to shoot than her grandpa's field Model 37. I shot the 1926 4e SBT this fall in honor of a recently passed friend who shot his all the time.

I haven't had it long enough to say I "regularly" shoot it, but I have fired it. A Smith and Wesson M&P, 38, with a 6" barrel, from 1951 (I'm a 52 model myself). I think it was unfired since leaving the factory when I got it, but I've put 50 or 100 rounds of wadcutters through it.

And the box it came in..number on the box, matches the gun.

I probably wouldn't have bought the gun, except for the box. I don't really care for a 6" barrel gun, especially a plain M&P, but the package was too good to pass up, especially since it's the closest one I've seen to a "birth year" gun, and it's grown on me now. I kinda like it.

I regularly shoot my Remington Model 11 (1914) and my New England Westinghouse M91 Mosin. I have other guns that are old, but those 2 are probably the oldest.

Even at my advanced age of 73, almost all of my guns are nearly twice as old as I am! I collect and shoot late 1800's single shot rifles. Mostly Marlin Ballard and Remington single shots. I hunted with them also until a few years ago when I quit hunting, and took numerous deer with my old single shots. I still shoot many of them at the range, and at local matches. I shoot from 200-1000 yds. and make ammo for all of them since almost all are obsolete cartridges, or need good loads to be very accurate.

These are a few of my old singles I shoot.

Exceptional!

I regularly shoot about 5 rifles that are way older than I am.
1888 Trapdoor - 1890
M96 Swede Mauser - 1900
M1917 - 1918
M1903A3 - 1943
M1 Carbine - 1944

A few. A model 10 S&W, a Mk.VI Webley, an 1873 Trapdoor carbine, a 1876 Martini Henry, an M1, an M1 Carbine.

I bet 80% of my guns are older than me. Some are older than my parents and one was made 6 years before my grandfather was born. I like old guns.

My Super Blackhawk is 9 years older than me, and my target rifles action is a few years older.
