Well, I’m white and male, and middle aged, and it’s certainly hurt my career. To survive, the NRA needs someone young, and a younger white male would be an okay choice but let’s make a statement, reinvigorate this organization with a bang!
 
The person best suited for the job should be the one chosen. To eliminate anyone in the pool of suitable candidates based on something like age or skin tone is ridiculous. The odds of finding the singular individual best suited for the job decrease anytime you do such things. That's not what we need to do at the moment.

Someone already mentioned Colin Noir. He's run a publicity campaign successfully (that's what a youtube channel is) and seems to be a no-compromise sort of fellow when it comes to the second amendment.
 
Does anyone really think any marginal consideration would touch the NRA with a 10 foot pole right now? Don't hold your breath for a splashy replacement. It'll be another middle aged+ white male, because that's what the NRA is predominantly composed of. Respectfully.

Now you think that this would be illegal and probably grounds for removal, correct? But Biden has done this at least twice. He announced prior to selecting an individual that both his vice presidential pick and a Supreme Court pick would be a woman of colour.
 
The entire fleet of top brass needs to go before I would give them another dime.
The next head should be someone who actually will fight for the 2A, not just count their donation millions.
Could be man , women, white, black, purple or an alien for all I care, but they need to get back to their roots and what they were intended for.
 
Despite what you might think about his or her pay rate, getting someone competent to run the organization is probably going to require a mid to upper six figure salary, short of someone taking the job for $1 a year.

I would not be looking for celebrity. Competence at running a large and diverse organization is more important. I never really felt wlp had the 2a in his blood like some of us do. It would go a long way if they were able to find someone both competent and a true believer, but competence is probably more important

I’m kidding. I really didn’t like the bump stock ban. But it’s funny to think about.
My personal opinion is that someone that was younger, articulate, intelligent, and with the ability to just put every day second amendment logic out there, so everyone can just “get “it that would be ideal! If it has to be a celebrity, why not one of the gun tuber? Mostly because a lot of them are just Clickbait nonsense. But what do I know. I am just a mid 30s life member who ain’t gave em an extra dime in quite a while.
