OK I admit it, I've pocket carried it a few times in a pinch when I had it in the car but didn't have a holster with me. I probably made some unexpected stops in my commute and needed to take it with me and threw it in my pocket.

Who's done it?

I don't think I own a single garment, other than maybe my Columbia parka, with pockets large enough to hold a P7. :scrutiny:

A PSP fits in lots of pockets ( guys pockets anyway Tamara ) and I've done it lots of times though holsters are the proper way . I've even carried the M10 in a pocket but thats really stretching it.

Carries fine in a guy's pocket (except snug jeans). A little too heavy for really loose fitting (jogging pants) clothes :what:. The design really lends itself to pocket/mexican carry. PSP is even better.

Skunk, after reading some of your posts about what's in your pockets, I really have to wonder about your pants sizing. Good god, who else can carry a Nalgene bottle in their back pocket and a P7 in their front? :D The only thing I pocket carry is a G27, and that's in the cargo pocket.

Skunk...

"Mexican carry? Isn't the P7 a bit butt-heavy for that?"

Not in my experience. However, the magazine release is probably too sensitive on the M8 to be perfect (as opposed to the PSP).

Royal Robbins 0wnz.

I must say, they are nice pants, and i'd love to have a few pairs because i've got it as bad as you, skunk. I've got all my pagers, radio, cell phone flashlight, pens, notepad, multitool, latex gloves, pepper spray, etc (welcome to the wonderful world of emergency medicine). However, those pants are, like, $50 a piece! where do you get them? Are they any cheeper where you get them?

I agree, but I still can't get a Nalgene in my pocket. Well, I can, but then I can't walk. I even get them 3" too big (33" waist, 36" pants.)

$38 at Lightfighter. I've found them as cheap as $30, but that place now sells them for $35. I've usually got other things to order from Lightfighter, so I get them there. I'd advise ordering over the phone, though, so you can ask what's actually in stock. They think nothing of 3 and 4 month backorders, since that's what it takes to get gear from their vendors in a lot of cases (#@$%@%#$ Coyote Brown RAID Pack.)

anyone else find them cheap? $30 would be awesome....$40 i'll live with, but still cry if i got blood on them.

Also, that partial elastic waist looks like it would make IWB carry far more comfortable.

Sorry for the thread hijack Skunk...

Clubsoda... yes, it does!! You can carry IWB or OWB on the same pair of pants. The CB holder strap is convenient to tuck the lower part of a OWB holster into and it keeps it closer to your booty when you bend over.

Oh, actually half the time has been with my Lands End dress pants.

The Nalgene fits in my 5.11 butt pocket, I wear size .30-30.

I have carried my PSP in my pocket, but frankly having a $1250 gun flopping around in a jacket pocket just seemed kind of stupid so I never did it again.

I've carried my P7 PSP in the jacket pocket of a parka or CWU-45. Not often, but I've done it in a pinch. Its to big for my pants pockets.

cant say i pocket carried a P7

but i once walked 2 miles with a bersa 95 .380 shoved in my doc martens

Yeah, but you probably wear girl clothes.... :D

I sometimes carry the P7M8 in a coat pocket; only certain coats though. The weight of the gun can make you look pretty lopsided! I have no problem with the Mexican carry of a P7, but pants pockets? Would need belt and suspenders!
