I had a pm9 for two and a half years. It pocket carries fine. Now, for over three months, I pocket carry an M&P Shield daily (sold the kahr). You'll have no issues pocket carrying the kahr

I did not have any issues with the size but found the 17 ounce weight unacceptable.

I switched to a M&P 340 JFrame revolver .38 spl plus P albeit 5 rounds....it weighs 14 ounces loaded.

But mostly a Seecamp .380 at around 13 ounces.

I do bag carry the PM 9 and shoot it much better with a Crimson Trace laser and a Pearce extension.

Pocket carry deos not work for me. Swings around and shifts to a bad spot. Prints too easy with most pocket holsters.

I've found that a pocket gun in a IWB holster is very nice. I prefer Crossbreed IWB.

Shoot, pocket guns are so small that I don't even need to IWb them. I make my own Ravens style Kydex OWB holsters.

I pocket carried my cm9 for a while. It rides nice - but not a quick draw. Just something to think about. It's hard to get into your pocket when you're in a tussle. When real trouble comes you won't likely have much warning or time to think about safeties.

I pocket carry either my PM9 or LCR. Both carry well and it all comes down to what I feel like carrying that Day.

Draw speed is not a problem with either.

I pocket carry a CM9 during the warm months while wearing cargo shorts. It has replaced my 442 as my pocket gun. Although the CM9 weighs a few more ounces the three dot night sights are a huge improvement over the sights on my 442.

I voted "not even there" but I've been carrying for about 20 yrs and I was still vacillating between that and the next choice. Probably the better answer is noticeable but not in the way. Besides, I rarely pocket-carry.

I'll admit that I expected it to be as easy to carry as an LCP, but I find that I am disappointed in how much it looks like you have a big book in your pocket. It doesn't matter what holster either, nemisis, kydex flat wallet style, uncle mikes #3 (I think) pocket holster. I don't wear tight pants, just normal jeans.
I put it on my waist in a kydex by pjholster and it vanishes. Too bad it doesn't always work, but that's another thread.
Thanks -
Scott

Pocket carry rarely. If the PM9 is carried as primary I use a DaSantis Speed Scabbard. If carried as BUG I carry it in a Cell Pal.

If I was a righty I'd probably have one in my pocket right now. Ploufs set up, with the decals on the grips, are the way to go. The Kahr grips are really thin and the stick on grips make them just right. I had them on my CW and the combo of traction and the little bit of swell made the gun that much more shootable.

I wear Tactical 5-11 shirts year round. They have an envelope behind each shirt pocket. I can carry pretty big handguns without printing. The PM9 is light enough it doesn't make the shirt sag.

So basically it gives it the K9 size grip? I find the K9 to be more comfortable in hand than the polymer Kahrs.
