Maybe you're limp-wristing?...I cannot believe that my negative experiences with 1911's is an anomaly.
But seriously...

not mine. at least with a 1911 i can put slim grips, a shorter trigger, and a different msh to personalize it to my fat hands with short stumpy fingers.Glocks are so ergonomically designed they fit almost anyones hands.
I mean, why spend hundreds or thousands of dollars for a pistol based on a one hundred year old design that is heavy and has a low ammunition capacity compared to a modern plastic pistol?

With a glock even if the bad guy pushes up against you you can still shoot him. You can't do that with a 1911.
Wrong about the Glock. It can be pushed out of battery just like any other semi-auto.
Please forgive me for being dorky here... but what exactly is wrong with the Hardballer? I got mine when they first came out... and had a few failures to return to battery the first month or so cause it was so darned tight. But I still shoot it every now and then and it works fine.
