Ruger's Precision Rifle is one example of a "bolt AR".
Now that I've actually looked at one, I can see it ... by the time Ruger introduced their Precision Rifle, I already had already put a Benchmark 6.5 Creedmoor barrel on my SiG SSG-3000 and put together a JP Enterprise 6.5 Creedmoore on a Sharp's Jack 308 receiver ...

It's been 2 years and I still haven't gotten that jawbone painted ... Maybe this weekend.

But, I suppose if the Ruger has a 9 or 7 twist, it wouldn't hurt to have one in 223 ... I've got a Remington VSSF that I don't shoot because it's got a 1/10 twist and I don't want to bother loading 223 for just one rifle and its accuracy goes to crap even with 55's and for 20 years I've only loaded 69's & 77's.
