Why do or why would you reload?

Because I can create 185gr HP .45acp rounds that kick like .38 special

Returned last night from a vacation in northern Montana. Why do I reload? When my younger brother is smiling ear to ear....and will NOT leave the prairie dog field.....after sending multiple pdogs to heaven....at 520-530 yards with my Savage 223. THAT is why I reload.

nitesite -- I've known some people who have had perforated Cheddites. Not good for the firing pin!

I do use Promo, but that's because I like it also. Cleaner than old Red Dot. New Red Dot is supposed to be cleaner, but I have to finish a big keg of Promo first.

I reload because I got it's cheaper and I actually enjoy banging out my own rounds with my Lee Classic Loader while watching TV.

I am amazed that accuracy placed last as a reason to reload. It is the only reason I reload.

I started reloading to lower ammo costs. Now I reload so I can drive tacks at 600 yards with my service rifles. See you at Perry.

Even my huntin' ammo shoots good.
