Winchester 190 Recoil Plate Auuughh .... !

Does anyone know how to put the stupid recoil plate back inside a Winchester 190 22 Cal. Semi Auto ? I tried upside up , upside down , frontwards , backwards , with the rear stock on , with the rear stock off ...where the he** does it go into the rifle ? I had in in the shop and he didn't know what the part even is , much less where to install it !
I keep trying , and every time i need to reinstall the spring ..
Radocy shows it out of the gun but not where it came out from ....

I'm not sure if it will help or not, but I tried.

Yeup , seen it b 4 , it really isn't helping me out because i can not tell just what it is i am looking at . Is it under the threaded bolt ? Is the lip facing down or up ...or toward the rear or the front ?
