Winchester 94

My father-in-law recently passed away and had several firearms in his collection, 2 of which my wife and I brought home. Would be interested in any info re the rifle such as model, year made, collectability, value etc. It is a Winchester Model 94 "30 W.C.F. -", 20" barrel, 38 1/8" overall length, straight "Pachmayr" cushioned butt plate, and dark walnut. The serial number is 1255351. I assume it is a 30-30 cal. & maybe an Original Trails End or Ranger, could be a Traditional, but front site different and front stock retainer is 2" from the front of front stock. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John R

No specific records available from Winchester for those years.

I think 30 W.C.F. means 30-30 Winchester Center Fire.

That it says 30 W.C.F. on it makes it far older then any of those modern abortions.

What you have there is the Real Deal!
(Except for the cut-off stock & Pachmayr pad.)
It came with a steel butt plate from the factory.
