Winchester M-71 help

Howdy Gents. Haven't been around for awhile--job plus a computer breakdown. I'm desperate for some help from the knowledgable base here. I need some parts for the rear sight of a Win. M-71. This is not the standard sight, but the peep sight option that is on the bolt. I believe it is referred to as a 98-A, at least that is what I've found in reference to Winchester sights. The same sight was available on the M-64 in .219 Zipper according to books. I've checked to no avail with Jack First, even tried Numrich--they didn't have a clue, didn't even know what I was talking about. I know these parts are going to be hard to find and if I do, I'll pay handsomely, but that's OK. Any suggestions on places to contact will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Gary Fellers lists them both original and repro. Doubt he would have parts other than screws.

it sounds like it might be a lyman. they sometimes have some old parts around and in some instances will make them.

Thanks cdet69, but no, it is Winchester. I have found the sight identified as a 98-A on a Winchester sight identification page. At one time it was a factory option, or maybeso (not sure) standard on the Deluxe model. Mine happens to be first year of production. Later, they were available with a Lyman peep sight that was receiver mounted, but I'm not sure if that was actually a factory option. One sees a lot of them with that Lyman sight on them.

Mr. Fellers had one of the two parts I need. That's half good, half bad! I still need the elevation adjustment screw and still begging any suggestions. Thanks!
