as a male, i presumably think that this is predominatly a male orientated board. i am curious as to how many women out there read, enjoy, and post here. i am not interested in gathering specifics on any one, just wondering how many ladies there are out there.

I'd hope that there are a lot of females involved with the 2A.

Gun control legislation is discriminatory on all fronts, granted, but it is more sexist than it is anything else.

I have been on and off (Brief time.) the internet for 10 years or so.

I have been into buying and shooting my OWN firearms since May 1998.

I have been involved in POLITICS since I was 12 years old handing out literature. I am now 58 years old.

Those politics included PRO GUN politics.

Been active in GUN - RKBA politics and ALL politics even when I did not own my OWN guns or been heavily involved in the SHOOTING SPORTS. I used my late husband's gun and/or guns. Activist in SELF DEFENSE ISSUES. I know what the 'MILITIA' is and not some politically correct 'REVISED' history is too. The m word is not a dirty word.

My late husband was involved in politics but not as much as I was. Vietnam Veteran and more plus his NON government job. He served this Republic for over 20 years.

Both parents and mentors = BIG time involvement in PRO GUN issues and ALL politics.

They're ways that the gamer-geeks can talk to each other and play games online. We have teens. :D

I set up the Skype account so I could participate in a voice chat to make it possible to play Dungeons and Dragons over the internet with DS#1 and his friends. (The friends think he's got the COOLEST parents because I play D&D and DH plays their favorite games with them (we have two teens of our own and a handful of others who WANT to spend time with Dad on Friday night. :D ))

And I got the Steam account because they were having a sale on Peggle if you went through Steam and I'd tried the demo and loved it. http://www.popcap.com/games/peggle But its very handy for messaging the teens to share cool links and remind them to do their schoolwork. LOL
 
I agree: Ladies with firearms ROCK

I felt women would often view our male points-of-views, but wouldn't chime in. Now I feel, I was WRONG as usual. The female is often the deadlier of the species, and generally the smarter! My wife controls the purse strings and stock purchases. I don't even know how she has the time to know so much more than I do. I could never cheat on her, since she'd catch me on the very first feeble attempt (married 35 years). cliffy

As the name suggests, I am male. Having clarified that, I'm also very happy and honored to have you ladies here. Some of the nicknames involved show a great deal of humor and wit. My salutations and courtesy to you all.

And I for one, will not mess with a woman who calls herself 'Bubbles' and has any sort of connection with her referenced website.
