This has probably already been done. But, if you could have only ONE handgun, what would it be?

This would not be for home defense because you have a shotgun. This will be for concealed carry in all seasons.

My choice would be a 5 shot .38 snubby or a G26.

How about it? What would be your choice?

Hey, you cheated. You have to pick only one, not remain indecisive! :p

I already know this, Ruger SP101 .357 w/ 3 1/16" barrel. :D

Okay. I don't have a Glock, so it's the snubby. I have always owned at least one snubby!

P2000. I've carried it in several environments for a long enough time to have amassed a method of carry for just about any situation. Plus it's been reliable through thousands of rounds.

I don't really want a Taurus 85 -- I'm not crazy about shooting revolvers. BUT, I've determined that it is the most suitable gun for me to carry given all the factors I have to take into account in making that decision.

I will be getting one as soon as the budget permits.

This game has been done to death...but still fun.

Smith .357, 4 inch barrel.

Probably a 19 but I wouldn't sneer at a 27.

CC in all Seasons? Hmmm.... Just one?! Hmmm.... The G32. :-D

S&w 642

For concealed carry under (almost) all conditions, the 642. Easy to shoot, dead reliable, amazingly accurate for a snub, low maintenance, and using the FBI load or short barrel ammo. I like the Kahr PM9 and Kel-Tec P3AT and carry both, but given one choice, a revolver.

if i could only have one handgun it would be the hk p7

when i only had one handgun it was the S&W 3914

Walther P99AS.

You do realize that the title of this thread is a famous quote from the movie "War Games", where the central "character" was Whopper?

Love my 1911 and my S&W 41 22

But if I had to narrow it down to 1 gun it would be the Dan Wesson 357 with 4" barrel simply because I can load it up or down, its reliable, its simple to operate during a stress situation and I know where it shoots.

Would You Like To Play A Game?

A: Global Thermo-Nuclear Warfare.

Loved that movie.

As for only owning one gun.....that would be a too-up between the HK USP45 and my RIA Gov't. Completely opposite ends of the .45ACP spectrum, but they both work.
