Your choice-NAA mini revolver or Keltec P32?

I had the P32 but did a one for one in January cause' I bought an XD the day before. The 32 had a belt clip for IWB, had the lanyard for sweatshirts, and always had an extra thin mag in my pocket.

Get the P32, a little more stopping power than the 22 for SD.

Funny you should ask. Ive had the P32 for years, it's my everyday carry, just got back from shooting my new NAA Pug. I love both but do prefer the Kel Tec if I had to choose. Just because it is a 32 and hold more rounds and faster to shoot.

I have both a NAA in .22 mag and a Kel-tec P3AT in 380 ACP. The P3AT is my choice for pocket carry. I use to carry my NAA 22 Mag all the time.

I just like bigger holes.

I'd go with Kel-Tec. I had some FTE problems with a new PF9, and sent it back to the factory, and whatever they did made it work just fine.

Kel-Tec P-32 without a doubt but each has it's place.
With a little practice you will be surprised at how well you can shoot one from 10 yards out.

P3AT, same size as a P32 and more horsepower. Actually, though, I carry my P11 9x19 +P hi cap in one pocket and the NAA in the other. And, I have absolutely NO problems pocketing a light .38 snub. If you do, you're not wearing the right pants. ;) A 642 can go anywhere my 9mm can if that's your preference. It's more gun than any .32 or .22, a lot more.

where did you hear that Kel-Tec didn't make a quality weapon? Don't confuse affordable with cheap.

Go with the Kel-Tec, I own three of them P-32, PF-9, and a sub 2000. As a father of seven I can appreciate well made and affordable.

I see Kel Tec haters on this board, but NAA minis are "unreliable"? I've never ever heard THAT one. The things are built like little Rolexs that shoot. There's not a finer put together firearm on the market IMHO. Yeah, it's tiny, it's a mouse gun, but it's damned sure a high quality piece!!!! I don't carry mine as a primary, but it's a quality gun. It's a bit hard to shoot even with the big holster grip, lacks power, lacks firepower, but it's a quality gun. The thing is actually pretty accurate, but many folks, lesser skilled with small guns, can't shoot it so it's got that "screw in their ear" reputation. I've practiced with mine, found ammo that works in it, shoots to POA, and I can fill the center of a paper plate at 25 yards with it. It's an accurate gun, just hard to shoot, neigh on impossible for ME to point shoot, too, though some shooters may be more skilled at that than me. It's just tiny, hard to point.

My KT has never failed me, either.

I carry a NAA Mini .22LR sometimes, generally when I don't anticipate the remote possibility of any need for a firearm. It will work as well as any derringer has, but with a few extra rounds.

But when I carry it, it's generally "because I can." (Years of living in an anti-gun state will do that to you.)

It's not remotely unreliable. Fit and finish are like a Freedom Arms. I've put a fair number of rounds through it, and I can hit a can at 8-10 paces, no problem. Never had a misfire, jam, or anything else that you might call "unreliable."

I mainly bought it (used) because it was a really nice, yet inexpensive, expression of the gunmaker's art. Came with a tiny leather IWB holster. It's the least expensive cartridge-fired gun I've ever bought, and yet one of the most intriguing. I just like having it around.:)

The Kel-Tec is more of a serious but small defensive piece. The diametric opposite of the NAA, there's not a viscerally pleasing thing about it. It's a practical carry gun, no less, and not a bit more. It's the better choice if that's what you want.

The P32 is a real gun. The NAA mini is more of a curio.

In practice, I haven't found a situation in which I could carry my NAA mini in which I couldn't carry my P32. Well, that's not quite true. I did carry my mini-revolver in the swimming pool a couple of times.

Get the Kel-tec and make it a .380. I've carried mine for a few years now and never had a bit of trouble with it.

Wait a minute,...let me check what's on me belt here,....yup,...it's a keltec fer sure,...but I do the
P3AT vs the .32 ACP,....ymmv,....I tried the mini revolvers.... once,....they're not for me, I am too clumsy fingered for them.

Well lets see---------I have a P32, two P3Ats, two P11s, and a Pf9. Oh yeah, guess I'd choose the kel tec. I have shot the NAA minis quite a bit. Both in .22lr and mag. They are a lot of fun to play with, and can be more accurate than one might imagine. IMO not a good choice for a carry gun, but better than a sharp stick. I've never heard of an NAA being unreliable, don't know where that came from. Definitely well built.

I have a P32. I ran 100 rds through it with no problems when I first bought it. I'll probaby get the NAA Mini at some point for those times you can't carry anything else.

I have a NAA .22mag and a Keltec P32 and a new Ruger LCP. The P32 has been my first choice for a pocket carried pistol over the last few years. I have carried the NAA as a BUG to the P32. With the new LCP, I will probably carry the P32 as a BUG to the LCP. Trying to cock and shoot a tiny single action revolver under the stress of a deadly encounter is something I would want to avoid. In the revolver dept. I have a S&W 432 in .32 H&R mag. The other guy might be armed too you know.

If I were down to a P32 or a rimfire, I would just leave the gun at home and carry a knife, but I've also trained in knife based martial arts and am not completely unskilled in that department.
