I'd love to get an idea of what everyone here carries on a daily basis; not just the gun, but the whole system. I've been looking to perfect my Every Day Concealed Carry System since I first obtained by Concealed Carry Permit, and I think right now I've got a pretty good rig going on. Of course there's always room for improvement, and even when I get a great system going, I'm continuously doing more research, firing more guns, and (of course) keeping my eye on guns that I want to purchase in the future.

I think the responses could be very insightful; it's not always easy to carry your "favorite" gun (I'm surprised at how many competition champions that use 1911-style pistols carry something completely different; normally plastic!), so this should give others a good idea at what people realistically carry. You can just copy-and-paste the form below and tell us what you carry! If you carry multiple guns, then either give us your primary carry, or list all of your systems!

Gun:
Caliber:
Modifications:
Sights:
Laser (if applicable):
Ammo:
Holster:
Belt (if applicable):
Miscellaneous:

So, of course, I'll get it started:

Gun: Glock 27 Gen4
Caliber: .40 S&W
Modifications: Pearce Grip +0 Magazine Extension (PG-26)
Sights: Stock
Laser (if applicable): None
Ammo: Federal Hydra-Shok .40 S&W 155 grain JHP
Holster: CrossBreed SuperTuck Deluxe (horse hide, no combat cut)
Belt (if applicable): CrossBreed Gun Belt (1.5 inch)
Miscellaneous:Mil-Comm synthetic oil

I am looking into getting a good set of night sights for the gun (it is still fairly new, so I haven't decided on a brand yet), and possibly even a set of Crimson Trace laser grips. But so far I have been very pleased with the system.

Currently I carry a Sigma in 9mm. Carried in a Tagua minimalist holster. I have a belt made by a member here, savetheclaypigeons. Spare mag on my weak side in a Desantis pouch. Ammo is Hornady CD.
But, next week I pick up my new STI Spartan, again in 9mm. I'll also be ordering a holster from Kelley gunleather, so it'll be a few weeks before I'm carrying it. I'll be switching my ammo to Hydrashok's, if they run properly.

9mm
Night Sights are only mod
No laser
Ammo: whatever hollow point was on sale
Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe holster (IWB) in DeSantis leather belt

Gun: CZ SP-01 Phantom
Caliber: 9mm
Modifications:stock
Sights: night
Laser (if applicable):none
Ammo:124 grain +P Remington Golden Saber
Holster: High Noon Down Under
Belt (if applicable): High Noon Rock Steady
Miscellaneous: High Noon Double Take double mag pouch

The belt and holster makes a gun concealable, or makes it so uncomfortable you can't wear it. The big CZ SP-01 Phantom disappears under a loose t-shirt, (and I do replace the 18 round mag with the 16 round for hot weather concealment, as shown in the photo), with the help of two critical pieces of equipment, the High Noon Down Under holster and the High Noon Rock Steady gun belt. http://highnoonholsters.com/index.html
I trust the CZ SP-01 Phantom to handle anything I need done, most accurate and reliable sidearm I've found yet. Fits me perfectly. http://www.cz-usa.com/

More and more lately, it is a naked SIG P232 SL with night sights in my hip pocket behind my billfold.
Two extra mags in a leather mag case in my left hip pocket.

Before that it was a Kel-Tec P3AT in a pocket holster in my hip pocket behind my billfold.
Two extra mags in a leather mag case in my left hip pocket.

I wear a belt & suspenders, so keeping my pants up is no problem!

My primary job (student) as well as my secondary (EMS) prohibit me from carrying as much as I would like. But when I do carry:

Gun: Ruger LC9

Gun: Glock 22 (gen 3)
Caliber: .40 S&W
Modifications: extended slide release, lone wolf barrel, polished internals
Sights: glock factory night sights
Laser (if applicable): none
Ammo: my own handloads (currently a 180 grain gold dot pushed to 1000 fps)
Holster: CrossBreed SuperTuck Deluxe (horse hide, no combat cut), or a hunter brand OWB holster i picked up at a gun show.
Belt (if applicable): wilderness tactical original instructor belt. 1 1/2" wide, five stitch, black.
Miscellaneous: ruger LCP (.380 acp) in a galco pocket holster is also carried 24/7 along with my ASP key defender (OC spray) and CRKT M-21-04G pocket knife.

Gun: ltd edition SW1911. It came with traditional recoil guide+plug vs full-length rod. Also came with grips seen in photo, and wearing a sweet polished-stainless finish.

Caliber: .45acp :)

Modifications: added stainless grip-screws, original were 'black oxide' and rusted way too quickly :cuss:
Added a forged-steel slide-stop, as the MIM slide stop broke on me before I had even reached 500 rounds! Now I'm at 3000 with no further issues :)
Also after much testing and practice at the range with and without, I've chosen to carry it with a recoil-buffer-ring installed around the guide-rod. Takes the 'edge' off the recoil, and may or may not spare the gun some wear n' tear.

Sights: Novak three-white-dot that came stock

Laser (if applicable): Newp, not I

Ammo:Hornady 230 grain XTP .45acp +P JHPs

Holster: IWB made by THR user 'Savetheclaypigeons.' Got it for a GREAT deal, like too good to be true, only that was months ago and I have no complaints! :) Awesome holster, worth every penny and then some. (seen in photo)

Belt (if applicable): This is where I've seen some folks 'not quite get it.' A good belt makes all the difference in the world! I am now wearing a Desantis belt with the S&W logo printed into it, that I purchased from the S&W online store. I've been wearing it for several months and I love it! It's very sturdy, and also comfortable, holds my 5" steel 1911 and holster with no issues. The sturdiness means no sagging, which takes most of the 'felt' weight out of the equation. With this combination of belt and holster, carrying is not a pain in the anything :)

Miscellaneous: In the winter time, I carry my extra mags in my jacket pockets, and if I take my jacket off I put one 10-rounder (Chip McCormick power mag, same but 8 rounder is in the gun) in my left pants pocket. I'm a righty, and don't want to change my grip to grab a spare mag! I usually have two 8 round mags in my left jacket pocket, and two ten round mags in my inside right-side jacket pocket, much easier to grab with left hand than left-side inside-pocket.

I practice drawing from holster and firing every time I go shooting.

here's a photo I just snapped for this thread (feel special now) of my holster, belt and gun combo:
