I couldn't decide which I thought was the better round so I staggered them. Sort of like Tiger Woods, why choose just one? :neener:

Modifications: Hogue wrap-around finger grips, GI style rod and plug
Sights: Meprolight. But I may switch to Trijicon or XS.

Ammo: Federal 23 gr HSTs in Wilson 47D magazines. (3 total.)
Holster: Mostly a Crossbreed Supertuck, but I also use a Serpa, a Galco Miami Classic Shoulder rig, and a fanny pack from time to time.
Belt (if applicable): A G.I. rigger's belt, wide nylon strap. But for this tax return I'm planning on getting a nice gun belt I can use with clothes my wife will let me wear in public.

XD subcompact in .40
12 round mag with rip extender loaded with Winchester Ranger SXT 180 grain JHP
No holster I use Clip Draw on whatever belt or even no belt at all. If wearing a best i'll carry an extra 12 round mag also with a grip extender. Always carrying a benchmade Infidel as well

Two different scenarios:

At Work (deep concealment required due to stupid "no weapons" policy that didn't prevent a guy who was mad about being fired from putting one of the supervisors into the ICU. Its a factory, this means that there are several objects that could be used as improvised weapons within arm's reach of any given workstation.)

Gun: MPA Protector
Caliber: .380
Ammo: Honestly, I let my husband pick this since he has more interest in the fine details of ammo type and did the research. It is a hollowpoint, defensive-type round.
Holster: Ace Case Bellyband modified with a safety pin because the gun is so small.
Miscellaneous: I use an unusual carry position -- wearing the bellyband around my ribs with the gun positioned under my strong-side arm as if in a vertical shoulder holster. I can't draw from that position on the weak side because of the DD obstacles. Sometimes I wear the gun just below my bra for a neckline draw and I'm considering a Flashbang holster for summer since the factory I work in has no AC and I'm in the NC Piedmont.

Miscellaneous: This gun is a bit too big for the neckline draw position -- at least until I lose enough weight that my belly doesn't protrude so much.


Occasionally I will put the MPA protector into a "universal" holster and tuck it into my bra. The draw is very slow and awkward, but the gun is absolutely invisible in even the most closely-fitted clothing.

I haven't solved the spare magazine problem for either gun. The bellyband's magazine holder ends up on my spine. Sometimes I carry an extra Slim magazine in my purse, but the general pocket deficiency in women's clothing is problematic.

I found it interesting to see how many people do have night sights. Do they make that much of a difference? Its difficult to imagine that they do; then again, I've never shot in anything other than cloud-free, blue skies on hot, sunny days, between 11am and 5pm or so.

I was also surprised to see that some people actually carry full-sized Glocks (the G22 stood out to me) in a concealed fashion.

More and more lately, it is a naked SIG P232 SL with night sights in my hip pocket behind my billfold.
Two extra mags in a leather mag case in my left hip pocket.

Before that it was a Kel-Tec P3AT in a pocket holster in my hip pocket behind my billfold.

I wear a belt & suspenders, so keeping my pants up is no problem!

I gotta ask, doenst it hurt your butt after awhile sitting down?
I've gotten used to wearing cargo pants, when I wear jeans I hate having my wallet in my pocket.
