I would have to say that my Kimber custom 2 is the most accurate pistol i own right now. I havn't fired or even seen my Kimber Crimson Carry Ultra yet so I don't know how that one compairs yet.

I think it is a toss up between my ruger MkIII or my S&W model 28. Two different birds I know, but they both make me look like a pro when I use them. And a pro......I am not!

Mine is a late 70's .38 spl S&W Model 64 with a 4" heavy barrel. Firing offhand in SA, I've been able to hit pie plate size targets at ranges over 50 yards consistently. I can't replicate that with any of my other hangduns, auto or revolver.

I'd go with my 1911.

I was planning on shooting a mag out of my relatively new gun on this mostly unused target to see if I needed to adjust the sights, but I stopped after the first shot. Distance was ~15 yards.

And this happened shortly thereafter. After this shot, and a look through the spotting scope, I decided to quit on this target as well. I got up from the bench where we were sighting in my buddy's 30-06 and walked the 100 yards to take it off the target stand. Lasered and witnessed.

If by pistol, however, you meant to say "semi-auto pistol", then it'd be the Buckmark.

If by pistol, you meant to imply "centerfire semi-auto pistol", then the answer was, is, and always will be, the CZ 75 full sized (& variants).

i've got a Riger Mark II 22lr with a bunch of aftermarket parts. it's pretty amazing. my GP100 6" is pretty darn accurate, too.

High Standard Victor with a Supermatic Trophy 7 1/4" barrel I bought at a gun show for $25 in 1987. I was 12 years old at the time...

A friend of mine carries a Smith and Wesson 649 of his dads, and for some reason it will always put the first shot in the X or the 10 ring at 10-20 yards. The other 4 open up to about 2.5, still not bad for a two inch barrel and grooved sights.

It's a toss-up. If I had to take one shot, and just one shot with one of my semi-autos, I'd be reaching for either my self-customized RIA M1911 (light, crisp trigger, beavertail grip-safety . . . original GI-spec sights) and some 230 grain handloads, or my CZ75 if I had to do it with factory ammo. If I had to use a revolver, I'd be reaching for my old model Colt New Service manufactured in 1902, since that gun shoots like a laser with Federal 225 grain LHP.
