Your thermos

Never had a problem keeping things hot down here in the semi-tropics ...,

You know speaking of hunting in hot areas......if you leave that thermos uncapped in the freezer overnight, and then pour a chilled beverage into it, and close up the thermos when you leave for your hunting area..., at the end of the day you have a cold beverage, if that's more to your fancy.

You could have iced coffee for example....., :D

I use a Stanley stainless vacuum thermos, it keeps hot to about lunch time. This one holds 25oz but I won't drink to much out there. We used to have the old ones with the glass but all have been dropped and you know what happens then.

They seem to keep hot much better if pre heated, I will boil water in the electric kettle and fill the thermos up as coffee or tea is being made.

I have a thermos for soups and what not but don't use it much, it does work nice even has a spoon in the lid.
Is there a hunting thermos that isn't Stanley green with the handle taped to stop the rattle?
