Zombie threads are banned here, which is fine, I don't get the whole zombie thing. But I think from the standpoint of self defense, the term "zombie" is basically a catch-all and euphemism for "bad guy". I dont think many people here really believe in the undead. Except the admins of course, who ban zombie threads.

To everyone else, Zombie threads arent really about zombies. They are about a stylized generic bad guy intent on doing you harm with whom you cannot reason and therefore have no choice but to defend yourself with deadly force.

Feel free to close this thread too. I don't care.

we're trying to reach fence sitters and undecideds etc here to get more people to vote our way on gun rights issues.

think about how it looks from the other side when you use that term. it's pretty easy to paint the picture of bloodlust and totally unrealistic defense scenarios because of movies.

basically, you're creating an image problem for everyone else. if you want to discuss a realistic defense scenario, by all means, open a thread.
